Other Rights
The above warranties apply to the original purchaser only for as long as the product remains in the original upholstery covering.

Exclusions
The above warranties do not apply to furniture that is intentionally misused or to damage resulting from negligence, exposure, rental or commercial use, pet damage, or fabric damage or failure due to additional chemical treatments, improper cleaning, or where unusually heavy soiling or abuse is evident. These warranties are not transferable.

In the Event of Defects
In the event of defects, report them promptly to your Flexsteel retailer with proof of purchase. If the product is still under warranty, your Flexsteel retailer will make arrangements for repair or replacement. If the product is more than one year old, the warranted product will receive parts at no charge, but the owner is responsible for costs involving shipping and labor for repair.

Caution: Children should not be allowed to play on or operate reclining or motion products. The footrest of a recliner folds down upon closing and could result in injury to a child. Always leave unoccupied recliners in the closed, upright position.

Smoldering smoking materials or flames can cause urethane foam to burn, creating upholstered furniture fires.

Note: Loss of cushion resilience should not be confused with slight softening and flattening of cushion foam and fibers as a result of normal use and aging. Cushion materials conform to the shape of the user and should not be considered manufacturing defects.

Note: No two pieces of leather are exactly alike; variations and marks occur naturally and are not defects. As leather stretches to fit your body, it will develop a patina and comfort lines where you regularly sit.

Note: Velvets, chenilles, and fabrics containing rayon may have color variation within caused by the angle that light hits these fibers. Shading and crushing are normal signs of use and are not factory defects.

Please see a Flexsteel retailer for detailed warranty information.

Wynwood Furniture Warranties

The following are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the noted period of time. Flexsteel will, at its option, repair or replace defective parts or products covered under these warranties.

Limited Lifetime Warranty
Desk Chair Flexsteel Seat Springs

Three-Year Limited Warranty
Desk Chair Mechanisms, Gas-Lift Cylinders, and 5-Star Bases

One-Year Limited Warranty
Frames, Mechanisms, Metal Mechanical Parts, Power Electrical Components, Hardware, Upholstery Fabrics, and Upholstery Leathers

Note: Just as every tree in nature is unique, every board used to construct your piece of Flexsteel Wynwood Collection furniture is also unique. For this reason, the piece of furniture delivered to your home can never be identical to the one in the showroom. No man-made material can compare to the distinct and intricate grain patterns and characteristics of natural wood. The differences in the beauty of natural wood grain and the subtle variations of coloring give real wood its richness and warmth.

In response to seasonal climate variations, wood will contract and expand throughout the life of the product and is not warranted for this purpose. These atmospheric changes can also cause drawers or doors to open smoothly at times and feel tight at other times. Natural defects such as mineral marks, pitch pockets, and color and grain variations are not covered under the terms of Flexsteel’s Warranty.

Other Rights
The above warranties apply to the original purchaser only.

Care & Cleaning
To ensure that your Wynwood furniture stays looking beautiful, we suggest the following tips for cleaning and maintenance.

Wood

  • Do not expose wood furniture to extreme heat or humid conditions. Do not place your furniture in direct sunlight or in a damp area. Avoid arranging your furniture so that it is placed in front of or over heating and air conditioning vents.
  • Do not place plastic, rubber, or hot objects on your wood furniture. Chemicals in such objects may soften or discolor the finish. To avoid such damage, apply a strip of felt, leather, or cork under accessories. Also, occasionally rotate accessories so they do not remain in the same spot for extended periods of time.
  • Lift objects from the top surface rather than dragging them across the finish when moving them.
  • Use a protective pad when using your furniture as a writing surface (especially when using a ballpoint pen).
  • Small scratches that occur with normal use can be touched up with a scratch remover or special touch-up pens or sticks available at your furniture dealer or at many paint stores.
  • Dust frequently with a clean dry, lint-free cloth. For a more thorough cleaning, the furniture may be washed with a mild soap and warm water. Dry thoroughly using a clean, lint-free cloth and wipe with the grain. A furniture polish may be applied for more shine. We recommend this type of cleaning every six months to remove accumulated dust and furniture wax build-up.
  • Do not use water, alcohol, lacquer thinner, acetone, or any alcohol-based cleaning products.
  • Spilled liquids should be wiped from the surface immediately with a soft, damp cloth. Always wipe the furniture in the direction of the wood grain.

Cane & Wicker

  • Do not use water, alcohol, lacquer thinner, acetone, or any alcohol-based cleaning products.
  • Vacuum with a soft brush to remove dust; hard-bristle brushes will mar the surface.
  • Wipe the surface with furniture polish and a soft, dry cloth for regular surface cleaning.

Marble & Stone

  • Do not use alcohol, lacquer thinner, acetone, or any alcohol-based cleaning products.
  • Spills should immediately be blotted with a dry cloth. Use a lightly water-dampened cloth to remove any residue; then dry with a soft cloth and apply furniture polish.

Metal

  • Do not use water, alcohol, lacquer thinner, acetone, mineral spirits or any alcohol-based cleaning products.
  • Dust regularly with furniture polish and a soft cloth or chamois.

Glass

  • Wipe the surface with glass cleaner and a soft cloth to remove dust, spills, or fingerprints.
  • Do not place hot items (e.g., pans, dishes, irons) directly on this surface.
